Day 1

The girls from England have arrived. It's been raining all day so we are worried the hunts will be cancelled tomorrow. The Irish didn't tell us when they would be arriving so we have no idea when they are gonna get here. Kiersti and I are the only Americans.
Victoria

Victoria is staying in a fabulous hunt box .......with the Irish for the first three days!! Her wonderful hostess for the first part of the exchange is former WRFH Master Mary (Rab) Fleming Thompson. Rab's lovely estate is nestled in the most beautiful "English-style" countryside setting with a Quaker style barn nearby .......and white and black sheep speckling the nearby hillsides. AWESOME--and all in Middleburg, Virginia.
I will post a few pictures later today--stay tuned!

AKA Momma

Sunday --
Ria drove 7.5 of the 8.5 hours, straight through Richmond, through DC, and around the beltway to Paula and Clyde's lovely farm.  We were a bit later than planned due to an emergency vet call on Don Diablo.  Poor Donnie!!
Paula and "Uncle" Clyde always make us feel at home, and we had a tasty meal of tenderloin, grilled pineapple, asparagus, and King's Rice (black).
Don't forget the mango sherbert after the trip to the International Market---yum yum (EXCEPT the Durian candy--you can always forget that. LOL).
:P
